Paramore had a win at the Spring Fling in the intermediate division last year, as well as a second place finish in the open division at the San Marcos Ice Bowl last February. Risley was the winner of the Las Vegas Halloween Classic and the California State Flying Disc Championships, both in the advanced division, while Morgavo had two victories in the advanced masters division last year, at the California State Flying Disc Championships and the Challenge @ Goat Hill.
The intermediate division win went to Matthew Howard of El Cajon, who had a final score of 24-under par, while Kevin Christie of Escondido, California, followed in second place with a score of 20-under par, with Josh Hesser of El Cajon at third place, local Glen Kluge at fourth place, and Phillip Jordan finishing in fifth place.
Shonda Garcia of San Diego captured the victory for the women in the intermediate division with a score of 2-under par. She had a fourth place finish at the Ladies La Mirada Pro-Am in September.
